Recently, I made a trip to Albuquerque, New Mexico. The landscape throughout the area seemed to change everywhere I went, which was crazy impressive! How I got reading again
I think it's funny when people try to excuse why they aren't interested in kids books: "My kids don't read." "My kids are grown." "We're too busy to read." "I don't have kids." "My kids are too little." It's funny because I definitely don't need an excuse for why NOT to get middle-grade books: Even if my kids didn't feel like reading that particular book, even though I'm "grown up," I read these books myself! Me and my costumes, part 3
The Gypsy You've seen my Idolette look and my Egyptian costume. Now, I'll tell you about my gypsy outfit. This costume is based on the "fortune-teller" Arthur meets in The Minotaur Riddle. She's called "gypsy" in the book because that's the name popularly used and what kids would understand. However, she would actually refer to herself as Roma.
